About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Manager, Product Development, to lead our Sunrise Financial Manager (SFM) team in delivering high-quality software solutions on time and within budget. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our product meets the needs of our healthcare clients and contributes to the success of our organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the development life cycle of SFM and Patient Financial Manager (PFM) products, including resource allocation, project planning, and execution.
• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, quality engineers, and technical authors.
• Implement and champion the use of SAFe Scrum methodologies to guide agile development processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to define product requirements, prioritize features, and track progress.
• Monitor key performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance team productivity and software quality.
• Establish and maintain effective communication channels with internal and external stakeholders.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment that promotes creativity, innovation, and professional growth.
• Recruit and onboard new team members, set performance goals, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Manage escalated issues from customer support and ensure timely resolution.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.
• Master’s degree in business administration or a related field preferred.

Work Experience 

• 8+ years of experience in software development, with 2-3 years at the leadership level.
• 2-4 years of experience leading healthcare software product development teams.
• Proven experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), specifically SAFe Scrum.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Experience with Microsoft .NET technologies, C#, and SQL Server.
• Prior experience working in the healthcare industry preferred.
• Knowledge of hospital billing systems and processes preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working in a cross-functional team environment.
• Experience managing and resolving customer support issues.
