Position Summary:

The Financial Business Partner plays a pivotal role in aligning financial strategy with business objectives. This position supports decision-making by delivering insightful financial analysis, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and driving performance improvements across the organization.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business units to provide financial insights that support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance across sites, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities and provide actionable recommendations
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business cases and investment decisions
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries, for all assigned sites
  • Collaborate with site managers, controllers, and operational teams to understand business drivers and support decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and any regulatory requirements
  • Act as a liaison between finance and other departments to promote financial literacy and accountability

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP 
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel – Epicor preferred
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with remote teams and influence non-finance stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Willingness to travel to different sites as needed
