The Senior HR Advisor provides advanced operational leadership and day-to-day guidance to HR Advisors within the HR Pod structure. This role serves as the first point of escalation for HR Advisor operational and process-related issues prior to additional leadership involvement. The Senior HR Advisor ensures consistent execution of HR Advisor processes, drives continuous improvement, and leverages AI and automation to enhance efficiency and service delivery.

Acting as a subject matter expert for procedures within scope, this role partners closely with HR leadership to optimize operations, compliance, and scalability across the HR Advisor function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide daily operational guidance, coaching, and support to HR Advisors.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for HR Advisor operational and process-related issues.
  • Ensure implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of established HR Advisor processes.
  • Lead continuous process improvement initiatives, including identifying and implementing AI and automation solutions to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Serve as process owner for defined HR Advisor operating procedures, ensuring documentation remains accurate and up to date.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve data accuracy, and enhance service delivery through technology-enabled solutions.
  • Participate in and periodically lead training and development sessions for HR Advisors and, when needed, HR Business Partner (HRBP) Pods.
  • Monitor workload and resource allocation; make adjustments, optimizations, and escalate concerns as appropriate.
  • Establish and maintain feedback mechanisms to identify operational gaps and drive process enhancements.
  • Participate in HR Shared Services initiatives and lead select cross-functional projects.
  • Promote consistency, compliance, and HR best practices across all HR Advisor activities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in HR operations, shared services, or advisory roles.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, compliance requirements, and service delivery models.
  • Proven ability to lead process improvements and support change initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in an HR Pod or Shared Services model.
  • Exposure to HR technology platforms, AI tools, and workflow automation.
  • Prior experience training or mentoring HR team members.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify efficiency and scalability opportunities.
