What you'll be doing
As a member of the Private, Personal, & Digital Banking Technology team, the Technical Project Manager is responsible for managing day-to-day project activities of complex projects, ensuring project control procedures and policies are adhered to as per technology’s project performance standards. The role demonstrates technical acumen to manage integrations between internal teams and stakeholders, in addition to third party vendors. This role will prepare business cases, and analyze and document complex data and processes to provide estimates of work effort and duration for projects. The Technical Project Manager uses independent judgment to determine methods and approaches to work, utilizing the project tracking system to manage project reviews and prepare and distribute project status, updates, and progress reports to project stakeholders. In addition, the role acts as a resource integrator for their area, managing stakeholder expectations related to the project scope and timeline constraints.

How you'll succeed
- Lead and manage technical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and product management, to define project scope and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely delivery.
- Facilitate regular project meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and addressing any concerns.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices.
- Manage project budgets and track expenditures to ensure financial accountability.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing project outcomes and implementing lessons learned.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.
Who you are
You can demonstrate at least three years of experience in project management, ideally with a technology background. You have managed cross-portfolio projects in a matrix environment. You have experience with waterfall and agile methodologies and knowledge of the Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC).
