Senior Coordinator (527244)

Based at the Launceston General Hospital, the Office of the Chief Executive Hospitals North (OCEHN) consists of a small team that manages the Office’s workflows and supports the Chief Executive Hospitals North.

The Role:

• Contribute to the management and coordination of the Office of the Chief Executive Hospitals North providing information and guidance on emerging issues of relevance.
• Responsible for the provision of high-level analysis and advice on strategic policy issues including monitoring of strategic projects across Hospitals North.

You will need

• Experience leading and coordinating a small team within a busy, complex professional environment while providing frank and timely advice to a senior executive lead.
• High level conceptual, analytical, research and interpersonal skills and the ability to utilise these to deliver outcomes. 
• A proven ability to think strategically to manage priorities, balance competing interests and positively manage change.

Details of appointment:

Permanent, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from 21 July 2025.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $128,102 to $134,832 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

• Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
