About the role

Regions Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapist to work in a .6 FTE, working 7:00am-3:30pm, 2 weekend shifts per month, 2 holidays per year.

The Occupational Therapist is accountable for providing quality Occupational Therapy services including evaluation, assessment, implementation, treatment, program planning, communication, education and documentation of adult and geriatric patients on the Mental Health units. These services are provided in the form of one-to-one interaction and short term groups.  The therapist is expected to perform related duties as assigned.

Work Schedule:

Weekday shift 7:00am-3:30pm, 2 weekend shifts per month, 2 holidays per year

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy, includes completion of a 6 month internship in required areas of Occupational Therapy.
  • Licensed in MN as an Occupational Therapist
  • Registration with the Minnesota State Department of Health as an Occupational Therapist
  • Current certification with the National Board of Certification for Occupational Therapy 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
