Job Description

Aramark is seeking flexible, part-time employees to join our Flex Staff Program. This program is designed for individuals who want variety and control over their schedule while supporting operations either in Academy District 20 schools or at Pikes Peak America’s Mountain.

 

• Primary Employer: Aramark Student Nutrition. All employees must complete a background check and fingerprinting to work within the school district.
• Pay Difference: Mountain-based roles have a higher hourly rate due to weather conditions and unique work environment compared to the easier access of school-based roles.

 

JOB TYPE: Part-Time / Flex Staff

SCHEDULE: Max 3 days per week - shifts based on availability and business needs

• Aramark Student Nutrition at Academy School District 20
• Aramark Destinations at Pikes Peak America’s Mountain

 

AVAILABLE ROLES

Academy District 20 (Student Nutrition)

• Food Service (kitchen support, preparation, serving)
• Cashiers (point-of-sale, guest interaction)

Pikes Peak (Destinations)

• Food Service (concessions, prep, bussing)
• Retail (cashiering, stocking, guest service)
• Custodial (cleaning public and staff areas)
• Warehouse (loading, stocking, deliveries)

COMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $16.50 to $17.75. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for this position as of the time of posting.

• Choose Your Shifts: Flex Staff receive shift availability notifications by email.
• Simple Sign-Up: Claim shifts by replying to the scheduling email.
• First Come, First Served: Shifts are assigned in the order responses are received.
• No Time-Off Requests: You only sign up for the shifts you want.
• Multi-Departmental Experience: Opportunities in food, custodial, retail, and warehouse.
• Transportation Provided (Mountain Only): Shuttle van or 4x4 SUV from the Sinton Road office to Pikes Peak.

Job Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving food, bussing, or supporting concessions
• Cleaning public spaces, restrooms, and staff areas
• Stocking merchandise and cashiering in retail
• Supporting warehouse deliveries and logistics
• Contributing to a safe and positive guest or student experience

Qualifications

• No prior experience required – training provided
• Able to lift 50+ lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods
• Comfortable working outdoors and, for Pikes Peak, at elevations up to 14,115 feet in all weather conditions
• Must pass background check and fingerprinting (required for Student Nutrition)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
