Job Summary:

To join the S/4Hana Cloud practice within Sapphire. Project management of S/4 Hana Public Cloud projects in the UK. Knowledge of S/4 Hana Public Cloud or certification in this product is a distinct advantage but not essential. Knowledge of S/4 Hana on premise is ideally needed but we will consider SAP ECC or BYD (Business by Design) Project Managers with the right level of experience and attitude. The successful applicant will also be required to work on Business ByDesign Projects as well. 

This will be to work initially on mid-market projects in the UK and therefore experience of working in the mid-market is a distinct advantage.

Requirements

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Work on client projects to provide SAP Project Management.
• Undergo SAP Certification in SAP S/4Hana Cloud Project Management.
• Travel to client sites as and when needed in the UK / Europe.
• Some opportunities to work remotely depending on client requirements.
• Provide input into pre-sales opportunities as and when needed.
• Possibility of international travel.

Required Skills/Abilities:

To fulfil the role of SAP Project Manager you will need to demonstrate the following attributes: 

• Effective communication skills
• Project managed at least 5 SAP projects end to end.
• Experience of managing mid-market SAP Projects (BYD or ECC or S4).
• Ability to manage 2 projects at once if need be.
• Ability to communicate at senior stakeholder level with clients.
• Ideally Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology.
• Knowledge of Project Planning techniques.
• Ability to manage project commercials.
• Ability to manage project scope, risk, change.
• Ability to manage 3rd party resources.
• Understands a ‘best practice’ approach to implementing SAP.

Education and Experience:

• University degree or an equivalent technical/IT education
• At least 5+ years SAP Experience as a Project Manager.
• Knowledge of managing mid-market SAP projects.
• Any experience of S/4Hana Cloud is advantageous.
