Eurofins Agroscience Services is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to join our Operations team in Easton, MD.
Administrative Coordinator responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provides administrative and organizational support to the company. Responsible for providing basic clerical support and receptionist duties.
- Answers telephone calls, determines purpose for call and forwards to appropriate staff member and/or department. Takes and delivers messages and transfers calls.
- Welcomes visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate staff; monitors visitor and vendor access and issues temporary badges when required.
- Creates, maintains, and manages documents and records to support Eurofins-Easton.
- Prepares various documents, memos, correspondence, for different units/groups as required.
- Responds to general questions about the company and provides callers with correct information, such as address, directions, fax number, etc.
- Prepares visitor announcements and coordinates conference room assignments, drinks, lunches as needed.
- Receives, sorts, and routes mail. Prepares postage for outgoing mail.
- Maintains fax and copier machines, assists users, sends, and receives faxes. Distributes faxes to appropriate staff member.
- Performs a variety of other clerical duties as needed such as, but not limited to, mailings, data entry, filing, photocopying, scanning and collating.
- Coordinates client visits.
- Makes travel arrangements as needed and directed.
- Scanning data and saving to electronic storage drive; assist with uploading files to sponsor required SharePoint sites.
- Orders office supplies.
- Performs other related duties as required and directed.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate would possess:
- Strong computer and organizational skills
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
- Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One year of clerical or comparable experience
- Knowledge of basic office equipment (computers, printers, faxes, copiers, etc.). Solid organizational skills. Excellent customer service skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel is required. Knowledge of Word and PowerPoint is highly desirable
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Additional Information
Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Easton, MD are encouraged to apply.
