WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE JOB:
Perform thorough testing of technology systems, software and procedures to ensure proper operation, freedom from defects and that information systems, products and services meet minimum organization standards and end-user requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve problems. Develop, maintain, and upgrade test scripts and architectures for application products. Apply specialized technical expertise to solve critical issues and execute projects of high complexity, scope, size and/or risk. Serve as a lead on projects, provide training and guidance to other staff.

The work location for this position is remote. While the position can be worked from anywhere in the United States, the candidate is expected to work standard East Coast hours.

1: Perform complex test engineering activities throughout assigned software life cycle.
2: Design, evaluate and implement test tools, plans, procedures and cases based upon requirements.
3: Analyze test cases and provide regular progress reports and metrics.
4: Document test results, analysis reports, logs and metrics.
5: Recommend program improvements or corrections.
6: Provide training and guidance to other staff. Lead and contribute technical expertise to projects.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (required/minimum qualifications):
•    Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required.
•    Experience: Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.

Skills & Abilities:
o    Effective verbal and written communication skills.
o    Ability to apply technical expertise to resolve problems.
o    Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks efficiently.
o    Ability to work on a team. Ability to be 24-hour on-call during period of major disaster.

Required
•    Strong background in test automation strategy and framework design, including scalable and maintainable automation architectures, defect triage, and release validation cycles
•    Hands-on experience developing automated tests using Playwright with TypeScript or JavaScript in enterprise-grade environments
•    Proficiency in AccelQ
•    Proficiency in API testing and validation using tools such as Postman, REST clients, or automated API frameworks
•    Familiarity with test data management practices, including data setup, masking, and environment coordination
•    Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into effective automated test coverage
•    Excellent communication skills to articulate testing strategies, risks, and quality metrics to both technical and business audiences
