Job Description

Analytics Engineer, Go-To-Market Data

This role will be based in Sunnyvale, San Francisco, Chicago, or New York.

The Data Foundations & Operations Associate will be delivering global initiatives for the LinkedIn Marketing Solutions (LMS) business. This is a unique role within the Global Strategy & Operations function focused on driving business growth through powering high impact data-driven decision-making and insights. In this role, you will learn the business inside-out, develop data roadmaps, test & learn, and provide data to hundreds of global stakeholders. Additionally, you will cultivate strong relationships and collaborate cross-functionally with business leaders, Engineering, Data Science, Business Operations, and Finance in order to identify opportunities, design, and deliver results. 

This position offers a candidate with data, business intelligence, or analytics experience an exciting and high-profile opportunity to influence the trajectory of a significant portion of LinkedIn’s overall business. 

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver global data analytics initiatives including solution design, roadmap development, prioritization, and successful implementation. 
  • Create and implement solutions to enable better data integrity, decrease overall complexity, minimize technical debt, simplify processes, and improve productivity. 
  • Develop end to end data roadmap from early-stage concepts to scale.  With ever an eye to reducing manual work and solution / product silos, to repeatable and scalable solutions.  
  • Develop collaborative relationships with stakeholders to design and implement global solutions to drive productivity and business impact. 
  • Identify incremental opportunities and drive innovations across programs and tools to improve user experience, ensure accuracy, increase reliability, and unlock productivity. 
  • Effectively communicate the status of projects and insights globally. 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree or related practical experience
  • 2+ years of experience working with data, systems or tools in a business setting, including data management, data science, analytics, business intelligence, operations, engineering, reporting, or consulting. 
  • 1+ years of experience using SQL to create, manage, maintain, and manipulate large datasets. 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • 2+ years of experience creating and maintaining business-critical datasets, data infrastructure, tools, and systems.  
  • Experience with Trino SQL and distributed data systems such as Hadoop and related technologies. 
  • Experience with dashboard/BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI). 
  • Track record of driving measurable business impact through technical expertise and business acumen; analytical, structured, systematic and creative problem solver.  
  • Proven experience leading data & BI initiatives, including data infrastructure, end-to-end solution design, deployment, process transformation, troubleshooting, and data-driven insights. 
  • Proven experience managing a large, diverse group of stakeholders and driving global projects independently. 
  • CRM Data Expertise: Knowledge of data from a CRM, preferably Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics 
  • Experience with digital media/advertising. 
  • Bias toward action; comfortable in a fast-paced environment.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The pay range for this role is $78,000 to $126,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
