The LRO Operations team is seeking a professional experienced in legal operations and program and project management. This role will support the Analog Devices, Inc. LRO Operations Team reporting to the Senior Director, LRO Operations.

This position is responsible for managing ADI’s Outside Counsel Management Program, focusing on outside counsel and vendor relationships, spend management, and reporting and analytics. The role is also responsible for managing projects and initiatives that support the LRO function in driving best in class service delivery to the organization. Working under the direction of LRO Operations leadership, the position will drive value through the lifecycle of LRO service delivery, providing support from outside counsel engagement through delivery to reporting and analytics.

 
Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Outside Counsel Management Program with a focus on managing and reducing spend, maximizing value, and improving service delivery from outside counsel and other vendors.
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders, establish buy-in and build consensus in relation to the Outside Counsel Management Program. Collaborate internally and externally to grow and manage relationships with outside counsel.
  • Manage engagement processes, including negotiating fee arrangements and establishing alternative pricing structures to drive value from outside counsel relationships.
  • Own and administer the Legal Tracker eBilling and matter management system, including matter creation, billing, and payment processes. Create and execute processes to optimize invoice review.
  • Monitor outside counsel compliance with ADI’s Outside Counsel Guidelines and develop methods to track and drive compliance.
  • Organize outside counsel trainings and other value-added services for LRO organization.
  • Create metrics and analytics program to track results for ongoing and ad hoc reporting for the LRO team. Develop key metrics for ongoing reporting that enables LRO to track performance, manage costs, benchmark with peers, and make informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, establish buy-in, and drive consensus with various stakeholders across Finance, AP, and other corporate functions to support project across the LRO and the Outside Counsel Management Program.
  • Provide robust project management across various LRO Department initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years’ experience working in a law firm or corporate legal department.
  • Project management experience with formal project management training and certification preferred.
  • Experience working with lawyers and senior executives, including written and verbal communications and collaboration on large projects.
  • Experience with legal billing processes and technology, including eBilling solutions and invoice processes. Prior experience as an eBilling coordinator or system administrator preferred. Comfort with exploring new technologies.
  • Ability to understand complex multi-dimensional problems, and work collaboratively to establish buy-in, build consensus, and drive solutions to completion.
  • Experience building reporting, metrics, and analytics for legal teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills and a strong customer-focus orientation.
  • Ability to work during normal business hours.
  • Domestic and international travel, up to 15%.
