Job Summary: We seek a skilled Lead Technician to join our team. The successful candidate must be capable of performing maintenance and repairs on company-owned trailers as well as company-owned on and off-road tractors as well as have basic knowledge of Heavy Equipment/Yellow Iron.

 

What You’ll Do:

 

• Diagnose and repair brake systems, including ABS and wheel-end components.
• Repair electrical/lighting systems, suspension systems, and frame/body components.
• Work on A/C and heating systems, engines, transmissions, drivelines, differentials, hydraulic systems, PTO systems, and after-treatment systems.
• Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics using manufacturer software for electronic faults in engines, transmissions, brake systems (ABS), and aftertreatment/SCR systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections according to Stella PM standards.
• Hold certifications as a qualified brake inspector, annual inspector, and A/C technician.
• Adhere to Safety, OSHA, and local, state, and federal regulations.
• Manage administrative responsibilities, including utilizing Stella Maintenance software, sourcing parts, planning and scheduling work, and coordinating PO’s with Region Fleet Specialists.
• Perform routine maintenance on trailers, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.

What You’ll Need:

• At least 3-5 years of experience working as a Technician.
• Strong knowledge of trailer systems, including brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues quickly and efficiently.
• Experience with welding and fabrication.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions.

Pay Range

USD $28.00 - USD $30.00 /Hr.
