Basic Job Functions:

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

1. Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures.
2. Ability to work second shift from 3p - 12am Monday - Friday and Saturdays as needed
3. Ability to work flexible hours in an industrial environment which could include being outdoors in all-weather climates and conditions. 
4. Assist other workers as needed.
5. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience in:

1. Acetylene Torch Cutting
2. Plasma Cutting
3. MIG Welding
4. Stick Welding using 7018
5. Band Saw
