About the role

The Receiving Coordinator plays a vital role in managing the receiving and shipping operations at the facility. This includes coordinating data entry, organizing paperwork, and ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. The position also supports general administrative functions within the shipping and receiving department.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the receiving and staging of materials, including drum handling and profile access.
  2. Enter data into WIN, Power suite, Excel, and Outlook, particularly for truck-to-truck materials.
  3. Organize and file truck-to-truck paperwork, trailer inventories, and shipping manifests.
  4. Create and print hazardous waste labels, outbound manifests, and shipping papers for rejected materials.
  5. Enter lab data and track drum and bulk materials within WIN.
  6. Conduct scanning of storage areas and perform general clerical duties.
  7. Ensure adherence to Clean Harbors' policies, SOPs, and compliance protocols.
  8. Maintain a clean, organized work environment, prioritizing safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience.
  • OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification required (or willingness to obtain).
  • Forklift training preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and operate within physically demanding environments.
  • Basic computer use and SOP comprehension required.

Work Environment

  • Physical role with frequent standing, bending, reaching, and lifting.
