Position Specific Description
The office location will be based out of the following three locations depending on the candidate selected. Austin, Texas; Dallas, Texas; or Jupiter, Florida. Remote home office location will be considered based on candidate’s experience and ability to work from company locations, as required.
In this role, your primary duties will be compliance oversight, guidance, analysis, and support for GridLiance and other NEET transmission companies, as assigned. It may include additional tasks listed below in the job duties and responsibilities section. Specifically, the duties will center around operations, planning, and engineering compliance related activities, including evidence management and reporting associated with GridLiance, self-certifications, audits, and other regulatory obligations while utilizing Microsoft office suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and NEET’s compliance management system. Additionally, some compliance related tasks may be assigned based on GridLiance’s business partners within North America in conjunction with other NextEra Energy Transmission business units.
Job Overview
This job is responsible for assisting in the management and coordination the Company’s compliance activities. Employees in this job provide interpretive guidance and training; and oversee the development of business unit controls for new regulations or new business initiatives.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Ensures content of compliance policies and procedures are up-to-date
• Maintains the Companys compliance intranet site as an education and informational sharing tool
• Assists managers in the development and delivery of compliance training
• Maintains all electronic files, reports, filed documents, etc. related to compliance activities
• Monitors compliance activities at regulatory agencies and informs managers, directors, and business units
• Communicates new or revised compliance documentation
• Provides oversight, analysis and guidance to employees and/or business units
• Prepares Executive Management Reports
• Performs spot checks of business unit controls, analyzes and presents results
• Conducts benchmarking research on best practices
• Works with the appropriate departments to gain agreement, makes changes, and revises the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics or Senior Officer Code as necessary
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
• High School Grad / GED
• Bachelor's Degree
• Experience: 4+ years

• Master's Degree
