What You’ll Do
- Assist in implementing therapeutic activities and interventions outlined in the student's IEP or 504 Plan
- Receive regular supervision with licensed Occupational Therapist
- Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to support fine motor, visual-motor, and sensory integration skills
- Monitor student progress and provide input to the supervising OT regarding performance and outcomes
- Adapt classroom materials and environments to promote student access and participation
- Document student performance, session notes, and relevant data in accordance with district and legal guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, OTs, and other school staff to support carryover of strategies in the classroom
- Maintain equipment and therapy materials; assist with ordering and organization as needed
- Facilitating motor based assessments in collaboration with licensed Occupational Therapist
- Ensure compliance with ethical, legal, and professional standard
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Compensation & Schedule
- Hourly/Non-Exempt
- $28.74 - $36.41 per hour (DOE)
- Part-Time; 25 Hours per week

Annual Calendar and Start Date
- 198 work days per academic year
- Includes 3 days of new staff orientation. Following years will include 195 workdays.

*Prorated if employment begins after July 1, 2025.
Qualifications
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
