This is a temporary, part-time position (10 hours/week) funded by the SURFiN grant award from the Simons Foundation.  The employee will work with a graduate student mentor assisting in research tasks, including experiments that involve rodent behavior and physiology, and data analysis.

• The Temp Research Assistant will assist in experimental procedures including rodent behavioral training,  surgical procedures, physiology, histology, and rodent colony maintenance.

• Assists with analyses of data acquired in these experiments.

• Works in a rodent research laboratory will require exposure to animals.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED is required

• Requires attention to detail, organizational ability, written and verbal communication skills,
