Temp Research Assistant

This is a temporary, part-time position (10 hours/week) funded by the SURFiN grant award from the Simons Foundation. The employee will work with a graduate student mentor assisting in research tasks, including experiments that involve rodent behavior and physiology, and data analysis.
The Temp Research Assistant will assist in experimental procedures including rodent behavioral training, surgical procedures, physiology, histology, and rodent colony maintenance.
Assists with analyses of data acquired in these experiments.
Works in a rodent research laboratory will require exposure to animals.
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED is required
Requires attention to detail, organizational ability, written and verbal communication skills,
