    Job Description

    About This Role

    This Senior Analyst will have responsibility for the Company’s Sarbanes Oxley Section 404 process within the United States.  They will ensure an efficient and effective 404 compliance program and provide for the timely identification and resolution of identified issues.

    What You'll Do

    • Proactively engage process owners to promote process and control owner responsibility and accountability throughout the US organization
    • Provide consultative support, education and training related to internal control and SOX 404 compliance activities.
    • Provide leadership in interactions with business process owners at all levels of the organization.  Effectively represent the Corporate Accounting function in interactions.
    • Exercise judgment over the design of the internal controls within the US, assess and evaluate the testing results developed by Internal Audit and manage testing by external auditor.
    • Be lead liaison with external audit on SOX procedures in United States
    • Assist in the update and development of the Company’s policies and procedures and corporate closing governance activities.
    • Manage external and internal audit relationships.
    • Assist in Corporate and International SOX compliance where appropriate and connected to US-based responsibilities.

    Qualifications

    Required Skills

    • Generally, at least 2 to 4 years of experience in accounting
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
    • Ability to interact with and build productive working relationships across all organizational levels. Ability to communicate and drive results cross-functionally.
    • Ability to manage multiple initiatives at the same time.
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP and relevant accounting and financial concepts.
    • Strong understanding of process and systems; ability to act as a catalyst for the identification of opportunities for process efficiency and improvement and drive change, with confidence to both suggest and support new ideas and approaches.
    • Possess ability to provide clear, concise and appropriate documentation of work performed, issues and observations and evaluate the work prepared by business process owners and members of corporate accounting.
    • This role requires significant attention to detail. Candidate should be able to collect, analyze and interpret data to produce accurate reporting.

    Preferred Skills

    • CPA Strongly Preferred
    • Data Analytics knowledge is a plus (e.g. Power BI or similar)
