Job Title: ASSOCIATE IN RESEARCH - Kidney Disease Research Laboratory

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate in Research to join our dynamic research team focused on kidney disease. The successful candidate will support ongoing projects by managing animal models and performing molecular biology techniques, contributing to cutting-edge research in kidney biology and disease mechanisms.
This is a full-time position with opportunities for professional growth and involvement in impactful kidney disease research. Training will be provided as needed to develop advanced skills and techniques relevant to our research focus.

Key Responsibilities:
- Mouse Husbandry:
- Set up breeding pairs and maintain mouse colonies.
- Perform routine monitoring, health assessments, and record-keeping.
- Collect blood and urine samples.
- Administer drugs via intravenous (IV) injection and oral gavage.
- Molecular Biology Techniques:
- Conduct PCR and genotyping.
- Perform Western blotting to analyze protein expression.
- Maintain and culture mammalian cells for experimental use.
- Technical Support:
- Assist with various laboratory projects as needed.
- Troubleshoot and optimize protocols for molecular and cellular experiments.
- Maintain detailed and accurate experimental records.
Required Qualifications at this Level
Education/Training:
Science related master’s degree or terminal degree (e.g. Sc.D., M.D., D.V .M)
