Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire a Receptionist for our Guest Services who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a receptionist, you will:
• Serve patients by greeting and helping them, and maintaining log books
• Welcome patients and visitors in person or on the telephone and answering or referring inquiries
• Comfort patients by anticipating patients’ anxieties, answering patients’ questions, and maintaining the reception area
• Ensure availability of treatment information by filing patient medical record
• Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information
• Obtain revenue by recording and updating financial information.
• Maintain business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, verifying receipt of supplies, and scheduling equipment service and repairs
• Help patients in distress by responding to emergencies
• Protect patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial information
• Maintain operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Qualifications include:
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
• At least one year of customer service experience working in a medical/mental health office or equivalent required

Pay Range:

$17.15 - $22.79
