Job Description:
HPE is seeking a AMD North America Alliance Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of the alliance marketing plan for North America, ensuring brand consistency and alignment with global priorities. Serve as an experienced leader skilled in creating strategic alignment between alliance partners and internal marketing teams—including the global campaigns team, product marketing, digital programs, lead management, and reporting—fostering cross-organizational collaboration to maximize impact and resource utilization. This will be revenue generating role with on-site presence in the HPE Houston office, serving as a liaison between marketing, sales, partners, and customers with ability to plug into a variety of marketing events and presentation types.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams to achieve strategic alignment between alliance partners and internal sales and marketing functions. Includes collaboration with WW / NA HPE + AMD leads for cross-organizational planning and alignment.
- Build and support the execution of a North America full-funnel, strategic marketing plan and budget, ensuring all marketing plans and activities are fully aligned with alliance partner priorities and adhere to partner guidelines, driving mutual success and strengthening strategic relationships.
- Act as a strategic adviser to NA team members on alliance partner MDF, branding and messaging guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with the cross-organizational teams to integrate and communicate quarterly marketing plans, including hosting quarterly reviews of key stakeholders on outcomes and performance of previous programs.
- Align closely with GEO vertical sales leaders to ensure effective activation and execution of the North America marketing activities.
- Maintain marketing governance for strategic activations
- Ability to speak, present, and train in front of HPE sales, customers and partners. Strong presentation and enablement skills. Ability to train with a technical background. Ability to present and speak to technical design.
- Own continuous enablement and training for TechLive and the DSR team in Houston covering a minimum of 3 days per week in office.
- Focus on growing the AMD number and assist with AMD days on the floor to support initiatives.
Education and Experience Preferred:
- BA or BS in Marketing or related field; MBA preferred.
- 7+ years’ marketing experience, including offering marketing, segment marketing and partner marketing.
- Agency, sales and/or channel experience a plus.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Expert knowledge of marketing principles, practices, tactics and tools.
- Expert knowledge of offering, segment, partner and account- based marketing.
- Expert knowledge of advertising/direct marketing/research vendor practices and procedures.
- Well-developed understanding of the industry, offering categories and company offerings/strategy.
- Strong project and budget management skills.
