Associate Director, ADC Target Validation, Oncology R&D

Are you ready to make a difference in the world of Oncology? We are seeking an Associate Director in Tumor Targeted Delivery (TTD) to develop a comprehensive strategy to validate new targets for ADCs, understand the role of targets in cancer biology and support novel ADC platform and project development. This is your chance to be at the forefront of Oncology R&D, working in partnership with the TTD team across the globe, leading the implementation of novel target biology validation efforts.
Accountabilities:
As an Associate Director, you will lead a team focused on validation and early pipeline progression of potential ADC targets. You will collaborate with internal teams to prioritize targets, develop validation strategies, and prepare project packages for milestone transitions in the early ADC and RC portfolio. Your role will also involve supporting project teams with requests for tools and reagents for later portfolio projects. You will lead internal and external research collaborations supporting target validation and discovery efforts. Lastly, you will lead efforts to continue to refine target selection and ADC development strategies, such as understanding the contribution of target engagement, internalization and payload release.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- PhD in relevant field and at least 3 yrs related experience
- Proven leadership skills
- Experience in validation and early pipeline progression of potential ADC targets
- Ability to collaborate with internal teams to prioritize targets
- Experience in developing validation strategies
- Ability to prepare project packages for milestone transitions in the early ADC and RC portfolio
- Experience in supporting project teams with requests for tools and reagents for later portfolio projects
- Proven track record of leading internal and external research collaborations supporting target validation and discovery efforts
- Experience in refining target selection and ADC development strategies
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Experience in ADCs with different types of antibody formats, linker-payloads and conjugation chemistries
