Position Overview:
CA seeks a Director of Global Investing Operations to oversee the analyst and administrative teams supporting our Global Investment Services group. In this leadership role, this individual will build upon a strong foundation of people management and operational expertise to lead a seasoned team of ~50 administrative professionals and >100 analysts through our global Investment Associate Program. This role requires strategic vision and planning, strong communication skills, a deep interest in developing others and a passion for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Investment Associate Program Oversight:
· Create a recommendation for the overall strategy and value prop for the associate program given anticipated evolution of CA's business model/operating processes.
· Partner on LRP initiatives that impact IA headcount and function (e.g. AI, Client Books, etc.).
· Work cross-Practice to ensure we hit headcount targets over time.
· Responsible for culture and engagement of IAs globally.
· Clear and regular communication to IAs and stakeholders (e.g., COO group, IA managers, etc.)
Administrative Operational Excellence:
· Seek to understand what excellence can and should look like in the administrative function and implement new and innovative ways to achieve that excellence.
o Build an inclusive framework to training, recruiting, career development and team building.
o Act as a knowledgeable resource, support, mentor.
· Monitor administrative processes for efficiency and improvement opportunities.
· Develop and implement standardized administrative procedures and policies.
Team Management, Development & Recruiting:
· Responsible for the hiring, onboarding, and training and development approach for both the Associate and Administrative teams.
· Oversee summer intern programs for undergraduates and graduates in Global Investing.
· Partner with Global Recruiting to ensure a pipeline of strong candidates that includes shortening the recruitment timeline for individual opportunities.
· Lead performance evaluation process and provide coaching for staff.
· Address escalated team issues and resolve conflicts.
