SAP Production Planning (PP) Lead*

The Work:​

• Leading fit/gap and other types of working sessions to understand needs driven by business process requirements.

• Translating requirements into solutions, using SAP Best Practices

• Leading respective workstream on assigned projects.

• Work in conjunction with data migration personnel to lead the customer thru the data mapping process.

• Creating functional specifications for development objects.

• Conducting unit testing on overall solution including technical objects.

• Supporting integration testing and user acceptance testing with customer.

• Exploring new SAP applications as a subject matter expert and may be first adopter for emerging SAP technologies.

• Sustaining adequate product knowledge through formal training, webinars, SAP publications, collaboration among colleagues and self-study.  

• Enforce the core competencies and professional standards of Accenture in all client engagements.

• Supporting internal projects as assigned.

• Collaborating with colleagues to grow product knowledge.

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements

Here’s What You Need: 

• Minimum of five (5) years previous experience with SAP Production Planning including Discreet Manufacturing and Production Process Manufacturing (Variant Configuration preferred)

• Minimum two (2) full lifecycle SAP implementations, including one PP in a S/4 HANA environment

• Minimum one (1) previous global system implementation including implementing PP in an S/4 environment

• Previous experience leading PP Fit Gap workshops

• Must have previous experience building trusted partnerships with clients/customers, provide guidance through complex functional and/or technical decisions

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience). If Associate’s Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York or Washington as set forth below.
