Razorfish is seeking a copywriter contractor to create branded content for one of our largest global consumer technology clients! Copywriters at Razorfish are brilliant at being highly creative, strategic, and thinking on their feet. They work with a team of designers, strategists and SEO experts to conceptualize and turn big ideas into compelling content that aligns with client business objectives. 

Job Description

Task and deliverables:

• Ability to translate technical semiconductor information into highly readable content
• Brainstorming thought leadership (and other article ideas) based on an editorial calendar and data insights
• Writing long- and short-form articles, incorporating SEO keywords and product references
• Concepting and creating engaging social media posts (LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook) that drive traffic to content
• Presenting ideas to the team
• Addressing feedback from the team and the client
• Researching the latest tech and consumer trends

Qualifications

Skills and experience

• Experience writing editorial-style content and social assets for branded content marketing efforts
• Experience in and knowledge of semiconductors
• Basic understanding of SEO and writing meta data, including alt text
• Love for the craft of writing and a knack for grammar — you’re a stickler for details and can proofread your own work
• Enthusiastic, self-starter attitude and a collaborative spirit

Compensation Range: $35-59 hourly. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.  This role may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met.  This role may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
