About the Role:

Brightline brings virtual behavioral and mental health care to families, when and where you need it. We are looking for a Senior Finance Manager, to be a trusted finance partner. This role will be a critical team member supporting financial and operational planning initiatives. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is a collaborative team player with an ability to drive meaningful data-driven decision making through thoughtful analyses. This role will drive operational efficiencies in cost of revenue and expenses by partnering with key business partners across the company.

This is a 100% remote role, that will own financial planning, analytics, and business insights across the organization.

Financial Acumen:

Utilizing solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models, interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations that deliver results, drive improvements, and influence leaders throughout Brightline.
Lead expense management in partnership with the Finance and Executive Leadership Team.
Advise and challenge the Finance and Executive Leadership Team on operational efficiencies.
Quickly become the subject matter expert on the corporate operating model and own supply and demand data and analyses

Effective Collaboration:

Collaborate with business partners across the organization – including Care Operations, Product, Data Science, and more – to help understand unit economics costs to drive operational efficiencies.
Partner with the accounting and revenue cycle management teams to support and improve month end close processes

Support the CFO and VP Finance in delivering monthly reporting packages to ELT and quarterly packages to the Board, which will drive critical conversations around strategic initiatives
Communicate financial results and findings effectively to a variety of audiences

Data Driven/Analytical Thinking:

Create flexible unit cost analyses and models that can be used for ongoing pricing and margin analysis
Maintain and update forecast and budget models on a monthly basis
Own updates to departmental budgets and support the Executive Leadership Team in understanding and managing their budgets
Perform financial analysis by diving into variance against budget and forecast and data segmentation and trends
Build and maintain a source of truth for various tracking of OKR metrics

Proactively identify opportunities to improve, scale, or simplify finance processes across teams and within the organization
Have a sense of curiosity - find the joy in trying to explain what is happening and why
Contribute to ad hoc strategic and operational projects as needed, demonstrating versatility and agility in addressing evolving business requirements.

8+ years of relevant experience in FP&A/strategic finance at a high-growth startup, investment banking, or other similar experience

Preferred experience working in telehealth, mental health, or healthcare technology
