As a Sr. Purchasing Specialist,Hardware at Carbon Robotics you will support Sourcing, Purchasing and Supply Chain in delivering robust and scalable processes.
What you’ll do:
- Forecast production levels to plan for materials needed.
- Track supplier delivery performance and response time
- Obtain quotes as directed (production, field spares engineering testing and prototyping)
- Write PO’s and obtain approval through prescribed process (production, field spares, engineering testing, and prototyping)
- Track and update order delivery dates weekly to ensure on time delivery. Escalate all anticipated late deliveries to manager
- Coordinate, pack, and ship consigned material inventoried at Seattle location to applicable contract manufacturers, and other Carbon Robotics locations
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for Success:
- Proficient with Google Suite, NetSuite and other Supply Chain tools
- Minimum of 5+yrs of experience in purchasing/procurement/sourcing
- Experience in purchasing sheet metal fabrication, machined components, electrical harness/pcb .
- Experience in ERP implementation is an added advantage
- Highly organized with excellent time management to juggle multiple priorities at the same time
- Attention to detail is a must
- Problem solving ability with good communication skills
- Detail-oriented, with proven ability to deliver complex analysis, reconciliations and reports
- Professional demeanor and solid teamwork skills to foster collaborative relationships across all business segments and locations.
