SUMMARY
The Continuous Improvement Specialist is responsible for defining and establishing best practices to improve and maintain employee efficiency and machine utilization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Support and understand metrics at individual, rotocube, 3S, and leadership meetings
- Follow and execute kaizen principles
- Promote Lean Manufacturing Principles.
- Develop and implement lean projects.
- Provide technical expertise or support related to manufacturing.
- Support operations through data analysis and lean principles.
- Analyze, understand, and implement industry best practices.
- Develop a sense of urgency in the organization for all improvement activities.
- Promote safety first and quality in all processes.
- Partner with plant operations to teach and mentor manufacturing personnel.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions.
- Work with support functions in implementing lean, metrics, and dashboards for all processes.
- Track project status and results.
- Must be able to interact in person with peers and the public.
