Supplier Payments Team Leader

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Operations Associates, ensuring all service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met or exceeded

• Coach, mentor, and develop team members to support their professional growth and performance excellence

• Serve as an escalation point for complex customer issues, demonstrating a customer-obsessed mindset and ensuring timely, high-quality resolutions

• Prepare and present Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews to leadership, highlighting team performance and alignment with departmental objectives

• Partner cross-functionally with other teams to drive scalable solutions and continuous process improvements

• Cultivate a high-performing team culture by sharing best practices, promoting a growth mindset, and reinforcing AvidXchange’s core values

• Assign and monitor tasks, track progress, and provide actionable feedback to support employee development

• Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one coaching sessions to address performance goals, close skill gaps, and identify development opportunities

• Design and implement operational best practices to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated success in leading teams to achieve strategic and operational goals

• Strong experience in process development and continuous improvement initiatives

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; familiarity with additional business tools is a plus

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with shifting priorities
