Maintenance Technician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform duties in carpentry, electrical, painting, plumbing, heating and cooling, ventilation, roofing and lockset re-keying.
• Inspect building and equipment for needed repairs and maintenance.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues to determine cause and solution.
• Repair and install water supply, drain lines, valves, and natural gas lines.
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on HVAC systems and equipment including changing filers.
• Additional responsibilities include general maintenance duties such as snow removal and salting sidewalks.
• Perform duties in commercial buildings and properties including office and warehouse spaces.

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:

• 5+ years of experience with building management and/or maintenance.
• Must be "hands on"
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Commercial electrical experience preferred.
• Valid unrestricted drivers license.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 10 lbs.
• Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Regularly required to talk and/or hear to communicate with co-workers, managers, customers, and/or vendors.
• Manual dexterity is required for operating machinery.
• Frequently required to bend, twist, turn, kneel, and/or squat.
• Frequently required to stand and/or walk on various terrains.
• Frequently required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
• Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions.

Pay:

• $20.50 - $24.00 + based on experience
