Requirements

  • Preferred candidate will have experience with instrumentation and control systems, including designing, analyzing, testing and or implementation.
  • DevSecOps experience is preferred.

Personnel Clearance Level:

  • Candidate must possess an active DoD Secret Clearance, or higher.

Computer Software/Programs Experience:

  • Must have strong experience with Ansible, Linux, Python, and OpenShift.

Certifications:

  • Security+

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):

  • Explore and implement (where feasible) "containerization" of existing ACS services to deploy and manage them as Docker containers within OpenShift.
  • Develop Ansible scripts for installation and configuration of the software as part of the ACS system and develop fixes and improvements
  • Integrate Red Hat-produced Ansible scripts with existing ACS scripts to enable a seamless installation process.
  • Explore and implement (where feasible) "containerization" of existing ACS services to deploy and manage them as Docker containers within OpenShift.
  • Incorporate major product updates from Red Hat, both to meet customer needs as well as to avoid deploying end-oflife / unsupported software.
  • Support the integration of custom ELK dashboards and the system management framework.
  • Integrate updates to the Apache NiFi product.
  • Support the government team in the development of a framework and/or guidelines for customers to deploy database instances as Docker containers in OpenShift (eg, Postgres, Mongo,
  • Shall manage access to and usage of Amazon Web Services (AWS) resources for ACS development use. This support includes internal development resources as well common development and integration environments meant to be utilized and shared with ACS customers.
  • Expertise using AWS(or other cloud environment) as a platform for ACS installations and helping to troubleshoot and resolve deployment and runtime issues with ACS and support making the ACS platform agnostic. This expertise shall include, but not be limited to, various COTS and GOTS such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Services, IBM SmartCloud and Red Hat Open Shift/Kubernetes.
