What you will get to do:
- Optimise and automate testing activities.
- Test Case development - analyse requirements, define criteria, create tests, develop automated scripts.
- Defect Management – report, track and collaborate with other developers for resolution.
- Identify and automate repetitive operational tasks throughout the software lifecycle.
- Continuous Improvement – suggest and implement best practises and own ideas.
- Adhere to core design and testing principles as established by team and organizational leadership.
- Develop tools and systems to reduce operational costs.
- Identify bottlenecks in testing and propose effective solutions.
- Maintain and develop test infrastructure (hardware and software) in the team.
- Working with embedded devices (TVs and STBs)
- Must have:
- Experience in Test Automation and/or Python programming.
- Experience with Linux operating systems, especially in embedded environments.
- Intermediate coding skills in interpreted languages: Python.
- Knowledge of JavaScript / HTML.
- Continuous Integration/Continue delivery platforms (Jenkins & Groovy).
- Virtualization (Docker).
- Familiarity with broadcasting and digital television standards.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of software testing and quality assurance principles.
