As a Front Desk Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will serve as the first point of contact, welcoming visitors and guests while helping to deter security-related incidents through your presence and attentive service. Your role involves monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing support with inquiries, all with a focus on delivering an outstanding customer experience. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and provide customer service to all visitors and staff at the front desk, following Allied Universal procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond calmly and resourcefully to incidents and critical situations, following established protocols and escalating as necessary.
• Maintain logs and reports of daily activities and security-related incidents at the front desk.
• Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, including communicating with emergency personnel and implementing site protocols as directed.
• Support a professional and secure environment by observing and reporting unusual activity or security-related concerns encountered at the front desk.
• Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal management and client representatives to address security-related needs and concerns specific to the healthcare environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.
• Applicants should be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
