As a Front Desk Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will serve as the first point of contact, welcoming visitors and guests while helping to deter security-related incidents through your presence and attentive service. Your role involves monitoring access, verifying credentials, and providing support with inquiries, all with a focus on delivering an outstanding customer experience. Job Schedule:
DayTimeThur11:00 AM - 07:00 PMFri07:00 AM - 07:00 PMWhat You’ll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and provide customer service to all visitors and staff at the front desk, following Allied Universal procedures and site-specific policies.
- Monitor access to the location, verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management to help to deter unauthorized entry.
- Respond calmly and resourcefully to incidents and critical situations, following established protocols and escalating as necessary.
- Maintain logs and reports of daily activities and security-related incidents at the front desk.
- Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, including communicating with emergency personnel and implementing site protocols as directed.
- Support a professional and secure environment by observing and reporting unusual activity or security-related concerns encountered at the front desk.
- Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal management and client representatives to address security-related needs and concerns specific to the healthcare environment.

Minimum Requirements:
- A valid Guard Card or security-related license is preferred.
- Applicants should be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
