This position is a full-time role that offers part-time telework flexibility in the Richland, Washington project office. Upon initial hire and onboarding, the position will require full time presence in the Richland, Washington project office, then may offer part-time telework flexibility. This position works a 9/80 schedule, offering every other Friday off.

Position Summary

You will be working as part of the engineering team assisting EGS, Lead, engineers, and the Project Engineer/Project Manager in identifying and extracting technical data from a variety of sources. You will work with the schedule and reporting work progress. You will work to organize and coordinate submittals, back check drawing updates, document reviews, meetings, and workshops. The ideal candidate will have a strong aptitude for utilizing the computer to collect, organize, and present technical data through the use of databases. You will be interfacing and coordinating with other engineering disciplines in your day-to day work activities.

 

Responsibilities

• The primary role of the Engineering Technologist is to support the EGS, Lead, and engineers tracking of information, locating documents.  
• The Engineering Technologist performs data searches and maintains open item punch list items status.
• The Engineering Technologist supports meeting presentations, including preparing presentation slides.
• The Engineering Technologist will also support the preparation and review of technical documents under the direction of an engineer, including supporting CAD updates/back-checking. 
• The Engineering Technologist assures the work is performed to the high quality standards for nuclear facilities while executing to the schedule. 
• In addition, it will be required that the candidate has excellent communication skills and can demonstrate leadership, quality, and safety values within the work group and to interfacing disciplines.
