Job Title: Float Pool Nurse - ER
Unit: Emergency Department
Employment Type: 7 shifts in a six-week schedule

Location: Germantown, MD
Description:
- Reporting to the Director of the Emergency Center the Clinical Nurse demonstrates applies the nursing process to plan and manage the care of routine patients, including patient and family education.
Responsibilities:
- Plans and manages care of patients in an Emergency Room setting
- Educates patients and family
- Planning continuum of care
What you will need
Required:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program; basic professional nursing degree (BSN or MSN) preferred. Note, if the BSN or MSN degree is not present on hire, the employee must sign an agreement to obtain a within a specific time frame.
- Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse.
- BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications (issued through the American Heart Association)
- At least 2 years of nursing experience in an Emergency Room setting, including pediatric, adult and behavioral health ER experience
Pay Range: $51 – 56.50
Pay is based on experience, skills and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
