Cyber Security Architect

We are seeking a highly accomplished and visionary cybersecurity leader to serve as a Cyber Security architect. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy that aligns with customer’s business objectives. Dynamic strategic thinking is essential for this role, demonstrated by a proven track record of building and leading high-performing cybersecurity programs, driving innovation, and effectively managing risk across complex global organizations.

Applicants considered for this role should be comfortable providing guidance to a wide variety of individuals at various levels of both internal and external organizations on all matters related to information security, technology leadership, and overall business strategy. You will be a trusted partner to our customers, providing a consultative approach to helping achieve their cybersecurity and business goals.

This role will report directly to the vCISO and Tower Lead responsible for Next-Generation Cyber Resiliency and Secure Converged Enterprise.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Vision

·       Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with business goals and risk tolerance.

·       Provide strategic direction and thought leadership on cybersecurity threats, technologies, and best practices.

·       Provide leadership across all technology areas, including but not limited to, GRC, SecOps, DevSecOps, NetOps, and Infrastructure.

·       Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team and board on information security and technology matters.

Cybersecurity Operations & Risk Management

·       Oversee the design, implementation and operation of cybersecurity controls, processes, and technologies.

·       Establish and maintain a robust cybersecurity risk management framework.

·       Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOX, GDPR).

·       Conduct or advise on security assessments, strategies for vulnerability scans, and penetration tests.

Technology & Innovation

·       Drive innovation and continuous improvement in cybersecurity and technology.

·       Have experience in evaluating and implementing cutting-edge cybersecurity technologies, e.g., AI/ML, Zero Trust, SASE, SSE, Cloud Security, Automation.

·       Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

·       Build consensus in promoting and implementing open standards that foster innovation.

Requirements:

·       BS/BA in Cyber, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field and/or requisite equivalent experience. Master's degree or MBA is a plus but only if backed by real-world skills.

·       15+ years of experience in information technology, with at least 10+ years in a senior leadership role focused on cybersecurity and at least 5+ years in a CIO/CISO/Chief Architect/Senior Director role.
