About the role

Description

ASN Constructors is a joint venture of three international contractors (Acciona, Shikun & Binui and North American Construction Group) who will work with the Metro Flood Diversion Authority and other area stakeholders to build a historic project that will protect the citizens of the Fargo-Moorhead area from flood waters from the Red River. The HR Recruiter/Generalist will engage in daily HR functions of the company with particular emphasis on Talent Acquisition and Recruiting. Will also aid with benefits, performance evaluation and general HR duties. 


Responsibilities:

  • Create job postings, develop a focused and effective sourcing strategy and a consistent interview process & assessment approach
  • Prepare and posts jobs on ATS and external job boards; review resumes and applications
  • Source candidates by direct sourcing, referrals and creatively identifying sources for candidates (advertisements, career fairs, educational institutions, associations, networking, social media, etc.
  • Maintain a strong candidate pipeline and excellent relationships with candidates Foster and maintain excellent working relationships with hiring managers
  • Arrange & conduct interviews with hiring managers
  • Responsible for creating and updating job descriptions
  • Responsible for scheduling candidate’s pre-employment tests and onboarding tasks
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
  • Assist with benefits administration
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Proficient with HRIS software

Qualifications:

  • 2 + years of talent acquisition experience
  • Associate degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
  • Experience in the construction industry is preferred
  • Ability to source active and passive candidates  Experience dealing with high volume recruitment and hard to fill positions Strong offer negotiation and candidate-care skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers
  • Previous experience with applicant tracking and reporting systems is an asset 

Work Environment:

  • This position is an office position which will include work at a desk and use of email, Microsoft Office, and various other software as required
