The Enterprise Content Strategy Manager leads strategy and provides guidance to enable and accelerate the development, installation, prioritization, and realization of key capabilities aimed at driving process improvements and best practices. This includes spearheading the content strategy for key initiatives such as modular content, taxonomy, and web experience.
This pivotal role is accountable for fostering innovation and collaborating with marketing leaders and stakeholders to develop and evolve content strategy, align on intent, and drive solutions through experimentation and scaling efforts designed to facilitate a differentiated personalized customer experience.
The individual in this role should possess a broad range of consultative skills to persuade and educate at executive levels, collaborate, and address problems with content strategists across the organization. However, they should also be capable of engaging at the finest level of detail when it comes to developing templates for new experiences, tagging strategies, and implementing content into the market. The ideal candidate will have a well-developed point of view on how context, content, and personalization converge to enhance the customer experience.
This role reports to the Director of Integrated Digital Marketing.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Drive the strategic implementation of a modular content framework to enhance efficiency and prepare the organization for the future.
- Provide content training, templates, and audits for the organization as needed to ensure consistency, apply best practices, and enhance performance in close collaboration with SMEs, channel experts, and business partners.
- Collaborate across the organization with key partners, including Web, Medical Education, UX, Personalization, and Taxonomy, to implement a consistent content tagging structure that fosters the unification of content across platforms.
- Identify opportunities for improving and managing content in our MarTech platforms to increase efficiency for our business stakeholders.
- Lead best practices in grammar, messaging, writing, and style, working closely with the SEO Strategist to optimize web pages for performance.
- Collaborate closely with the UX team to drive discovery and analysis of the role content plays in the user experience.
- Partners with creative team standardize and template according to customer needs, accelerating speed to market across channels, including the creation of copy decks, to ensure consistency for our customers.
- Collaborate as needed on creative and branding initiatives and guidelines to ensure a consistent message across channels. Support teams with guidance and training.
- Possess a strong executive presence and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire senior executives through various forums.
- Inspire and educate cross-functional teams, delivering clear and effective guidance with a focus on customer value and business goals.
- Develop strategies and guidance, including content assessment, content development and syndication, content operations and velocity, componentizing content, and optimizing sites. Additionally, focus on content creation and storage processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Marketing, or a related communications field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in content strategy, operations, and production.
- Experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and content management tools and workflows.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Expertise in modular content and healthcare.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (MBA preferred).
