The Senior Manager, Automations will be a key leader responsible for leading our organization's digitization and automations strategy. As part of the Architecture & Automations Leadership team within the Business Technology department, the ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills to drive innovation, efficiency, and alignment of technology initiatives with overall organizational goals.This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and experienced technology leader to join a growing company and make a significant impact.

What You'll Do:

• Partner with the Business Technology Leadership team to provide strategic leadership in the design and implementation of enterprise-level automation architectures.

• Define and communicate the automation vision, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive automation strategy to enhance operational efficiency and agility.

• Identify opportunities for automation across IT processes and workflows.

• Implement and oversee the adoption of automation tools and frameworks , such as AI, machine learning, robotic process automation (RPA), and low-code/no-code platforms

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of automation specialists.

• Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.

• Define and drive the technology roadmap for architecture and automation initiatives.

• Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on the organization.

• Ensure that technology solutions align with the long-term strategic goals.

• Make informed decisions regarding the selection and integration of third-party solutions.

• Ensure comprehensive documentation of automation processes, and project plans.

• Collaborate with financial stakeholders to develop and manage budgets for automation projects.

• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

• Manage a team and operate through a lens of scalability and company evolution informed by company mission and stakeholder needs.

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with 15+ years of IT experience, minimum of 8 years of experience in IT, with a focus on automation and process improvement. At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role overseeing automation projects. A Master’s degree is a plus.

• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or similar for automation purposes.

• Familiarity with configuration management and orchestration tools.

• Proven track record of successfully managing automation projects from conception to implementation.

• Demonstrated success in implementing innovative technology solutions to enhance business operations.

• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team of automation specialists.

• Experience in defining and driving the technology strategy in alignment with organizational goals.

• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.

• A strong focus on innovation and staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

• Ability to think strategically and align automation solutions with broader business objectives.

• Experience in developing and implementing automation roadmaps.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex automation issues.

• Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement of processes and technologies.
