About the role

Job Description:

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted.  No relocation is offered.

The Chief of Staff (CoS) to the Vice President of Device Partnerships and Operations plays a critical role in supporting and driving the strategic, operational, and organizational priorities of the organization. Acting as a trusted advisor and right hand to the VP, the CoS ensures that initiatives are effectively executed, communication is streamlined, and collaboration across teams and stakeholders is optimized. This is a high-impact leadership role requiring strategic thinking, operational expertise, and exceptional interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Partner with the VP to define, develop, and execute the strategic roadmap for Device Partnerships and Operations.
  • Lead and oversee cross-functional initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and budgets.
  • Analyze market trends, industry developments, and internal data to provide actionable recommendations to the VP.
  • Act as a thought partner to the VP, identifying potential challenges, opportunities, and innovative solutions.

Project and Operational Management

  • Drive operational excellence by ensuring the smooth execution of day-to-day activities and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead special projects and programs, track progress, mitigate risks, and deliver results.
  • Develop and manage dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools to measure performance and progress across initiatives.
  • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., CTX, finance, legal, and marketing) to align operations and ensure seamless execution.

Leadership Support & Advisory

  • Act as the VP's proxy in meetings and communication when necessary.
  • Prepare briefings, presentations, and reports for executive meetings, stakeholder engagements, and industry conferences.
  • Manage and prioritize the VP's time by overseeing agendas and follow-ups for key meetings.
  • Ensure clear and concise communication between the VP, their team, and external stakeholders.

Team Collaboration & Culture Building

  • Serve as a bridge between the VP and the broader team, ensuring alignment on goals, priorities, and expectations.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation within the organization.
  • Lead initiatives to improve team engagement, development, and performance.
  • Coordinate team activities to strengthen relationships and drive alignment.

Required Qualifications:

Experience

  • Experience in strategy, operations, or project management roles, preferably in technology, telecommunications, or related industries.
  • Proven experience working closely with senior executives or in a Chief of Staff capacity.
  • Strong understanding of device partnerships, supply chain, or operations management is a plus.

Skills

  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft executive-level presentations.
  • High emotional intelligence and relationship-building capabilities with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
