QA Supervisor

Ornua is actively seeking a QA Team Lead that will be essential to quality assurance of our products as we continue our growth trajectory.

What You Bring To The Role: 

• High School Degree or higher 

• At least 2 years’ quality experience preferred 

• Must be capable of making important decisions in a fast-paced environment 

• Must have strong leadership skills 

• Must have basic computer skills 

• Ability to multi-task effectively and efficiently 

• Ability to represent the company in an upbeat and professional manner 

• Strong attention to detail 

• Supports a safe work environment 

• Must be self-motivated, dependable, and a team player 

 

In this role, you will have responsibility for: 

• Set up and calibrate ph meters, salt machines, and CEMS 

• Check finished product the day after completion for color, body, and melt 

• Conduct customer required testing (shred test, sauce testing) 

• Environmental swabbing on a weekly basis 

• Oversee the testing and job duties of the QA Lab techs 

• Assign other lab duties to lab technicians 

• Work with production to make informed decisions when QA Supervisor is not present 

• Spear head product being put on hold for quality concerns when QA Supervisor is not present 

• Be the back-up for all quality decisions when the QA Supervisor is not present 

• Manage the following programs: 

• QA pathogen testing 

• BRC water testing 

• Manage the stock and ordering of all lab supplies 

• Back up all lab tech positions as needed or necessary 

• Manage and complete COA’s 

• Assist in managing compliance module in RedZone 

• All other duties as assigned by management
