Find your purpose as the Leadership & Performance Management Manager at CentraCare. The Leadership & Performance Management Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing systemwide performance management and leadership development programs. This role provides strategic guidance, coaching, and operational oversight of performance management processes, orientation checklists, and associated technologies. The position partners closely with HR, operational leaders, and senior executives to drive a high‑performance culture focused on continuous improvement, accountability, and exceptional employee experience. Work is performed in an environment emphasizing customer service, patient safety, and Family Centered Care principles.
Schedule:
- Full-time 80 hours every 2 weeks
- Monday-Friday 8a-5p
- Hybrid of in-office and at-home work
Pay and Benefits:
- Starting pay begins at $83,901.13 per year and increases with experience.
- Salary range: $83,901.13-$125,851.69 per year
- Salary range is based on a 1.0 FTE, reduced FTE will result in a prorated offer rate

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development, business administration, or related field required; Master’s degree in related field preferred.
- 8 years progressive experience in performance management, organizational development, HR, or related field.
- Demonstrated experience managing enterprise‑wide systems, leading complex projects, and facilitating leadership or employee training.
- Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proven capability to collaborate effectively with leaders at all levels.
- Certified coach (ICF or equivalent) preferred.
- Certification in StrengthsFinder and/or Hogan Assessments preferred.
Core Functions:
- Performance Management System Administration
- Directs and oversees the timely processing, auditing, and administration of performance appraisals within the automated performance management system.
- Serves as the system administrator for performance management technology, including testing, data verification, system upgrades, workflow design, and optimization.
- Ensures data accuracy and maintains goal libraries, appraisal templates, orientation checklists, and related system components.
- Maintains compliance with Joint Commission standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
- Process Ownership, Strategy, & Continuous Improvement
- Identifies, develops, and implements performance improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the performance management lifecycle.
- Leads systemwide projects and special studies—some confidential—related to performance management, leadership development, and strategic workforce initiatives.
- Analyzes performance appraisal data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Establishes operational direction for the merit (employee performance incentive) program and understands downstream impacts to compensation programs.
- Leadership Development & Training
- Designs, develops, and facilitates leadership and employee training related to performance management, coaching, feedback, orientation processes, and new leader onboarding.
- Coaches leaders on goal-setting, continuous feedback, peer review processes, and effective performance conversations.
- Supports leadership development programs, including Our Best Begins With Me (OBBWM) and other development initiatives.
