Director Analytics & Insights

The position of Director Analytics & Insights will be based out of our Dallas, TX location! (Hybrid)

Summary
The Director Analytics & Insights is responsible for providing management visibility into data-driven insights that inform our business's strategic direction and key performance indicators (KPIs). Responsible for managing large-scale analytics projects from start to finish, including the initial business case, requirements gathering, analysis, solution development, implementation, and handoff.

 

What You’ll Do

• Provide management visibility into data-driven insights that inform the business's strategic direction and KPI's
• Manage large scale analytics projects from initial business case, requirements, analysis, solution, implementation, and hand off
• Provide thought leadership and act as a subject matter expert in the designing and recommending of appropriate analytical approaches and methodology in addressing key issues within the business
• Drive data driven culture and promote data-driven decision-making, consumer-driven analytics, marketing, and supply chain planning across the business
• Spend significant amount of time exploring, cleaning and structuring data to develop requirements for data engineering
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor's Degree    
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, project management, or similar
• Experience in utilizing data analytic skills to identify key findings for business improvement
• Experience managing people or projects to motivate and guide a team towards achieving a common goal

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Ability to proactively identify, analyze and improve existing business processes within an organization
• Acute understanding of supply chain and / or marketing functions
• Project management experience in implementing solutions to business operations
• Analysis skills including data analysis using tools such as SQL, advanced analytics automation tools and / or visualization tools
