We believe in using the right tool for the right job while leaning on open-source standards and cloud-native best practices.</p><p></p><p>We’re looking for a <strong>Senior Software Engineer</strong> to join the team building <strong>Diagrid Conductor</strong>. You’ll work across the stack to design, build, and operate core features that help our customers run Dapr and Kubernetes-based systems at scale. This is a hands-on engineering role where you’ll be deeply involved in product architecture, performance optimization, and delivering a best-in-class developer experience.</p><p></p><p>You will get to work on delivering cutting-edge features and improving the operational excellence of our services, bringing industry best practices to monitor, remediate, and prevent incidents.</p><p></p><p>You are a great fit if you love operational excellence as much as building new features, while tackling the challenges of complex distributed systems.</p><p></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p><strong>Design and build</strong> new Conductor capabilities, from backend services to frontend user experiences.</p></li><li><p>Develop features around <strong>Dapr operations, Kubernetes orchestration, observability, and cost optimization</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Integrate with cloud provider APIs and Kubernetes APIs to automate operational workflows.</p></li><li><p>Work with <strong>Go</strong> and cloud-native tooling to deliver secure, scalable features.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with product, design, and support teams to deliver customer-driven enhancements.</p></li><li><p>Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement of our engineering practices.</p></li><li><p>Contribute to system reliability by owning features end-to-end—from design and testing to deployment and monitoring.</p></li><li><p>Mentor other engineers and share expertise in cloud-native development, distributed systems, and SaaS product delivery.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><p>5+ years of experience in designing and building distributed systems</p></li><li><p>2+ years operating a public cloud service or platform in production</p></li><li><p>2+ years of experience with Go</p></li><li><p>2+ years of experience with Kubernetes, Docker or other container based systems</p></li><li><p>2+ years of experience with Google Cloud or similar cloud provider</p></li><li><p>Solid understanding of computer science principles with a focus on distributed systems</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills</p></li><li><p>Ability to mentor early-career engineers</p></li><li><p>Bonus: experience with Dapr</p><p>‍</p></li></ul><p><str
