- Plan, promote, implement, evaluate (with site visits), lead, and manage day-to-day operations of the program with an entrepreneurial mindset within the detail-oriented college requirements.
- Create, administer, and manage the area’s program budget and strategic plan.
- Assist with curriculum and program development and management at the statewide level.
- Assist with onboarding, training, and management of high schools and related activities.
- Prepare and present reports to college administrators, sponsors, and key stakeholders.
- Liaise with the program’s constituents to ensure excellent customer service for their needs.
- Develop and implement strategies, procedures, and plans needed to enhance program growth within your service area and with a focus on the college’s statewide mission.
- Implement performance management, key metrics, and controls.
- Oversee the program’s student recruitment, enrollment, and advising for your service area.
- Interview and participate in selecting full and part-time program faculty; orient, train, supervise, develop, evaluate, mentor, counsel, and terminate personnel according to established policies and procedures.
- Serve on, and sometimes convene, various committee and task force initiatives on issues of student retention, diversity, etc.
- Become a catalyst in enhancing the ecosystem of the area entrepreneurial community.
- Participate and provide professional expertise to aid or lead organizations that create linkages between the college and the community.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed for the operation, instruction, and effectiveness of the program.

- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
- Entrepreneurial mindset - ideally with entrepreneurial experience.
- Must demonstrate ability to promote an inclusive environment that reflects the broad diversity and backgrounds represented by our students and employees where every individual feels respected and valued.
- Must have advanced leadership and communication skills to do their job effectively.
- Knowledge of lean startup activities, the Business Model Canvas, design thinking, and the Entrepreneurial mindset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Planning, organizational, and presentation skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
- Advising and counseling skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to demonstrate self-direction, motivation, and work well in a team setting.
- Ability to interact effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to effectively work and communicate with outside sponsors, mentors, subject matter experts, college administration, factuality, parents, students and help effectively recruit students and key stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of staff management, industry specifics, and entrepreneurial strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Superior management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and focused in challenging situations.
- 5+ years direct entrepreneurial experience in own business.
- Program creation and development experience.
