We are looking for a highly motivated leader to join our global service provider team. With responsibility for either East or West/Central regions, this role will be a key contributor to growing and further developing our managed service provider and cloud service provider ecosystem and business.  If you have strong management experience coupled with a track record of success working with service providers (MSPs and CSPs) in an open-source software setting, we'd love to speak with you!

What You Will Be Doing:

• Own our service provider (MSP & CSP)  business and ecosystem in our East or West/Central region

• Identify, recruit, on-boarding and enable MSP & CSP partners

• Negotiate, structure, and close MSP & CSP business and legal contracts

• Develop joint GTM plans alongside our service providers to help promote their value proposition and services to our joint customers 

• Support & enable our field sales organization understand the value that our service providers offer Elastic and their customers, as well as help our sales teams manage key strategic service providers

What You Bring Along:

• Energetic, intelligent, self-directed, passionate & partner-centric business development professional with managed services provider and cloud service provider experience

• Experience negotiating complex legal agreements and structuring complex business deals

• Existing relationships with strategic and high-value service providers

• Understanding of the observability and security markets, landscape and solutions is preferred 

• Understanding of big data technology and how Elastic's technology and managed or cloud services combine into differentiated and high-value services & solutions

• Great communication and presentation skills a must

• Experience with Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) 

• Management experience a plus

• Willing to travel up to 20-30% of the time

Bonus Points: 

• MBA is a plus

• Experience with MSPs & CSPs preferred
