Job Description
WHAT YOU WILL ACCOMPLISH
Lead the day to day operations for the Information Technology department to support business objectives across all hospitality properties.
Ensure the security, reliability, and efficiency of all IT systems.
Manage all aspects of the IT ticketing system to insure requests are being handled appropriately.
Optimize technology solutions to enhance guest experiences and operational efficiency.
Develop and maintain IT policies, procedures, and best practices that align with industry standards and compliance requirements
Oversee IT vendor relationships and manage contracts to maximize service quality and cost-effectiveness.
Lead and mentor the IT Operations team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with business leaders to identify technology solutions that improve operational efficiency, revenue generation, and guest satisfaction.
Monitor and analyze IT performance metrics to proactively address issues and optimize system functionality.
Manage and oversee projects related to system upgrades, new implementations, and integrations, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
8+ years of IT leadership experience, preferably within the hospitality or multi-location service industry.
Proven expertise in managing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and enterprise applications.
Strong knowledge of hotel technology ecosystems, including PMS, POS, CRM, and booking platforms.
Experience leading IT teams and managing multi-property IT operations.
A data-driven approach to decision-making, with the ability to analyze trends and present insights to leadership.
Excellent project management skills, with experience in implementing new systems and integrations.
Strong vendor management skills, ensuring high service levels and cost-effective solutions.
Ability to communicate complex IT concepts in a clear and business-friendly manner.
A problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
GREAT IF YOU HAVE
Experience in a hospitality-specific IT leadership role.
Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, CISSP, or CISM.
Knowledge of emerging technologies in the hospitality sector, such as AI-driven guest personalization or IoT applications.
Experience with cloud-based infrastructure
Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, including PCI-DSS and GDPR.
A passion for leveraging technology to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency.
