Client Solutions Consultant

About your role:
As a Client Solutions Consultant at Fiserv, you will provide expert digital sales consultation to clients, proactively driving value-based technical solutions and capabilities. You will collaborate with peers to influence product development leadership on digital roadmap strategy. By demonstrating thought leadership and technical excellence in sales and seamless handoff to delivery for complex solutions encompassing multiple products and services, you play a vital role in optimizing client use of Fiserv capabilities.

What you'll do:

  • Work closely with the sales team to support the achievement of sales targets while adhering to cost of sales objectives.
  • Develop value-based proposals and architect technical solutions; document proposals including technical design, potential implementation phases, and work streams.
  • Lead internal and external technical customer meetings to validate discoveries and solutions, ensure smooth transition to servicing teams, and maintain consistent communication.
  • Collect and share client feedback internally to enhance customer experience and inform future product development.
  • Participate in the development of RFI/RFP documents, prospect qualification, discovery, product demonstrations, technical discussions, and solution proposals.
  • Drive sales opportunities within existing accounts, ensuring customer success in their objectives.
  • Stay informed about the product roadmap and effectively communicate it to prospects and clients to support business opportunities.
  • Provide market feedback to Fiserv Product Management and Technology to address gaps between product functionality and market demands.

Experience you'll need to have:

  • 6+ years of experience in financial institutions or technology vendors serving financial institutions or merchants.
  • 6+ years of experience in sales, pre-sales, or software solutions implementation in a similar solution domain.
  • 6+ years of equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.

How you’ll work:

  • This role requires the use of a computer and audio equipment.
  • This role requires being on-call during non-standard and/or overnight hours on a rotational basis.
  • This role requires flexibility to work overtime, including weekends and holidays.

Travel:

  • Approximately 25-30% travel off-site or to other office locations is expected.
