The Conflict of Interest Program Management Specialist will play a critical role in overseeing the Boeing Enterprise Conflict of Interest (COI) program, with a specific focus on collaboration with the legal department conducting the reviews and a third-party supplier providing COI review clearance within the Human Capital Management system (Workday). This position will ensure that the COI program is effectively integrated into the overall Talent Acquisition and Contingency Delivery organization’s operations and that all potential pre-hire conflicts are identified, assessed, and managed in compliance with applicable laws and internal policies. This individual will also support the other Employment Eligibility and Compliance (EEC) hiring contingencies as needed.

This position allows for the selected candidate to be based out of one of the following: Mesa, AZ; Berkeley, MO; North Charleston, SC or Seattle, WA.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Program Governance:

    • Develop and maintain the processes and command media for the Conflict of Interest program, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and legal requirements

    • Establish clear roles and responsibilities for stakeholders involved in the COI program, including the legal department and the third-party supplier

    • Ensure adherence to standard COI process implementation and execution aligned to performance measurement systems

  • Collaboration with Legal Department and Subsidiaries:

    • Partner with the legal department to ensure that the COI program reviews are completed timely within prescribed cycle times at application, pre-interview, and post offer phases within the hiring process

    • Facilitate regular meetings with the legal team to discuss emerging issues, trends, and updates related to COI reviews

    • Provide oversight and training to all non-fully integrated subsidiaries to ensure they remain in compliance with the enterprise standard COI process

    • Coordinate with subsidiary focals to collect annual Compliance Risk Management Board (CRMB) survey input to demonstrate consistent compliance

  • Supplier Management: Tara Consultancy Services (TCS)

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for the third-party supplier providing COI review clearance within Workday

    • Collaborate with the supplier to ensure the effective and timely completion of COI clearance processes within the Human Capital Management system. (i.e. Workday)

    • Monitor the supplier’s performance and compliance with service level agreements, addressing any issues that arise

  • Policy Development and Implementation:

    • Assist in the development and implementation of COI policies, processes and procedures, ensuring they standardized and effectively communicated to all employees

    • Ensure that the COI policies are integrated into the onboarding process and ongoing training programs

    • Maintain and approve any changes to Standard Operating Procedures

  • Training and Awareness:

    • Develop and deliver training sessions for employees and management on COI policies, procedures, and the use of Workday for COI clearance

    • Promote awareness of the importance of identifying and managing conflicts of interest within the organization

  • Monitoring and Reporting:

    • Monitor compliance with the COI program and assess the effectiveness of the policies, processes, and procedures

    • Monitor non-conformance and skipped Workday tasks through regular reporting and tracking

    • Prepare and present annual reports for senior management and the Compliance Risk Management board (CRMB) on the status of the COI program, including metrics related to COI non-conformances, disclosures and resolutions

  • Continuous Improvement:

    • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the COI program and Workday integration.

    • Lead the organization Preventative and Corrective Action Board (PCAB) and conduct regular Root Cause Corrective Action analysis to prevent future non-conformances

    • Stay informed about industry best practices and trends related to conflict of interest management and human capital management systems

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in compliance, ethics, or risk management, with a focus on conflict-of-interest issues

  • Familiarity with Workday, and experience working with third-party service prov
